Welcome to Wander for Days
We’re Deanna and Todd – wanderers of the world, heading wherever the next adventure takes us. Our goal throughout the pages of this blog is to inspire you to embrace life’s adventures and explore this big, beautiful, diverse world we live in with destinations near and far.

Who we are
We met in 2016 on a blind date at the original Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, California. That date sparked a lifelong love and interest in craft breweries!
That year, we traveled to the island of St. Martin to celebrate his 50th birthday. We’ve been traveling the world together ever since.
Every time we go on an adventure – big or small – we love to journal our days on social media. For us, it’s a way to remember the subtle details of each trip; for friends who follow along, it’s been a way to share all the special experiences.
What you’ll find on Wander for Days
Our favorite way to travel is to pick a beginning, pick an end, and fill in the middle as we go. We make a list of cool things to see and do:
- Classic, touristy activities and do-not-miss destinations (think Nile River, Eiffel Tower, Grand Canyon)
- Random, quirky, off-the-beaten path things (imagine giant trolls, dog sledding on a glacier, island toboggan rides)
Then put together unforgettable, authentic experiences.
We love talking to locals when we travel, asking their favorite places to go and things to do. This has given us some incredibly unique opportunities that we’re excited to share with you here.
Where we’ve traveled
Some people dream of visiting all 50 states in the U.S.
Some want 5-star resorts in iconic destinations around the world.
Some seek out the path less traveled in remote locations.
We love them all! So far, we’ve been to 34 of the 50 states and 14 countries:
States: Alaska | Arizona | California | Colorado | Connecticut | Georgia | Hawaii | Illinois | Indiana | Iowa | Kentucky | Maine | Maryland | Massachusetts | Michigan | Minnesota | Missouri | Nevada | New Hampshire | New Jersey | New Mexico | New York | North Carolina | Ohio | Oregon | Pennsylvania | South Carolina | Tennessee | Texas | Utah | Virginia | Washington | West Virginia | Wisconsin | and the District of Columbia
